Pictured above is the weather buoy where we get our current weather and sea conditions. This is Station 46050 Stonewall Banks located about 20 nautical miles West of Newport, Oregon. It is owned and maintained by National Data Buoy Center. It is located in position 44°38.3 N 124°29.6 W, it is a 10 foot diameter discus buoy, in a water depth of 401 feet.

Synopsis for the Oregon Coastal Waters
A strong pacific front will move into the Oregon coastal waters today spreading gale force winds. This front is also generating a large swell, up to 22 feet. There is another strong front that is expected to impact the Oregon coastal waters Thursday and Friday. Saturday they are calling for westerly swells 18 feet.

We are looking forward for better weather conditions, and are hopeful we can put the boat in the water next week.
